I love pursuing adventures on rock walls, mountain trails, open water, and in my kitchen too. I've climbed at an elite level while holding full-time leadership roles, and I'm unapologetically analog when it comes to thinking things through.

What I’ve learned in nearly two decades of leading teams is that when leaders find clarity, everything changes: how they lead, how their team performs, and how they show up when it matters most.

Background

I've spent more than two decades growing climbing gyms. I built my career from the ground up, starting on the operations floor and working my way to Chief Operating Officer of a PE-backed, high-growth, multi-state organization with over 30 locations and 2,000 employees.

I drove the operational integration of two multimillion dollar acquisitions, contributed to 400% organic growth from six locations to more than thirty over eight years, and navigated the cultural and operational complexity that comes with scaling an organization at that pace.

Along the way I built the leadership infrastructure that made growth possible, designing national leadership development programs, creating succession frameworks, and developing emerging leaders into senior national roles.

Climbing at an elite level requires years of deliberate, committed work and the resilience to fall repeatedly and try again until you succeed. I applied that same approach to my over twenty year leadership journey. What I learned from both shapes how I coach and how we work together.
